Our basic hardwood biochar. In a larger package for bigger gardens and farms.

Suitable for :
– Direct application to soils, preferably biologically activated previously for more immediate results
– As an addition to compost
– Animal feed supplement

We sell biochar by volume and not by weight for transparency. A lot of people sell biochar by weight- when you compare the 90% carbon rate of biochar made from our sourced hardwoods with the 10% carbon in biochar from waste like sugarcane you’re instead buying that percentage of carbon.

What makes our biochar better quality?

→ Fixed Carbon : Our biochar has more than 85% of fixed carbon, and less impurities left over from the burn

→ Volatile matter : It is the residual chemical compounds and gases that are not fully removed after the burn.

→ Moisture : Our biochar has an initial introduction to water immediately after the burn to make sure the biochar readily accepts water at a future time. Making it hydrophilic.
