With help from the Mens Shed we created the Biochar Stumpy Stove, a fantastic permaculture device that allows people in poorer countries to cook using less water while making biochar as a by-product.
It is fully insulated so you don't get burns and injuries from kids falling into fireplaces.
It's a fabulous modular device made from emptied spent gas cylinders and is now manufactured by men's sheds in Brisbane and sent to Vanuatu and West Africa.
